About the service
I develop mobile travel guide applications for cities and tourist regions — from mockup to publication on App Store and Google Play. The starting point for any project is the reality of a traveler: weak wifi in hotels, expensive roaming abroad, and the desire to get an answer here and now, rather than after a long page load. That's why maps, descriptions of attractions, and routes in my applications are fully cached and work without a single megabyte of mobile traffic.
I develop a database of points of interest for a specific city, distribute them by themes — architecture, gastronomy, nightlife, family entertainment — and build a routing engine that assembles a logical walking route for the user based on their chosen interest, not random markers on a map. The map itself is built on light vector tiles, not heavy raster graphics, so the application remains compact and can be installed even on slow airport wifi.
I manage the project entirely myself: I design the interface with tourists in mind, ensure native performance on iOS and Android, connect an admin panel for adding new points without a programmer, and bring the application to publication in stores. If necessary, I integrate monetization — paid premium routes or partner tickets.
What's included in the development:
— interactive offline map with points of interest;
— route builder by themes and duration;
— support for multiple languages of content;
— admin panel for managing attractions;
— publication on App Store and Google Play
