About the service
I write in MoonScript — a CoffeeScript-style language that compiles to Lua — and deliver the result as clean, readable Lua that anyone on your team can understand. If you love Lua but are tired of boilerplate, MoonScript gives you real classes, list comprehensions, implicit returns, and concise syntax while keeping plain Lua under the hood.
What I do:
Game scripting for LOVE2D and Corona — entity systems, state machines, UI logic, save and load, game rules. Class syntax and comprehensions in MoonScript make game code noticeably shorter and clearer than hand-written Lua.
Web logic on OpenResty and Nginx — request handlers, routing, rate limiting, caching layers, and API endpoints in MoonScript, compiled to fast Lua that runs right inside the Nginx worker.
Clean Lua codebases — I turn tangled Lua into structured MoonScript modules or transpile MoonScript into neat Lua that you can commit directly if you later want to drop the toolchain.
MoonScript build setup in Lua — I wire up moonc, watch and compile scripts, source maps for debugging, and integration with your build system (Make, LuaRocks, busted tests, CI). You get a pipeline from .moon sources to production Lua with one command.
Every delivery comes with readable output, comments, a short README for rebuilding, and tests where appropriate. I care about code your team can read a year from now. Tell me the target — LOVE2D, Corona, OpenResty, or plain Lua — and I'll tune the language and pipeline around it.
