Service description
I develop interactive fiction and text adventures in Inform 7 — a natural language programming system where a story's world is described much like you would write ordinary prose. Whether you have a finished manuscript, a rough concept, or just one vivid location — I'll turn it into a playable parser game that readers explore command by command.

The work includes: a fully modeled world of rooms, doors, containers, and scenery; items with properties, states, and sensible default behavior; characters that respond to examination, conversation, and handed objects; puzzles built on real cause-and-effect logic, not arbitrary locks. I write custom actions and grammar so the parser understands exactly the verbs your story needs, and add rules for scenes, timers, scoring, and multiple endings.

I care about player experience as much as code. This means clear room descriptions, helpful responses to wrong guesses, reliable synonym and abbreviation handling, UNDO-friendly design, and thorough testing with transcript scripts to catch dead ends and unwinnable states before release. I can build a classic Z-machine or Glulx for major works, prepare a web version for in-browser play, and hand over clean, commented source code that you can edit yourself.

Typical projects: short competition games, educational demos, narrative prototypes for studios, and full adventures spanning several hours. Describe your idea — I'll design the world model, puzzle chain, and ending structure, then build something people actually want to play.
