About the service

I'm a Pony developer and create highly concurrent, memory-safe systems that stay predictable under heavy load. Unlike familiar solutions in Erlang, Go or Rust, my entire practice is built around Pony: the actor model gives thousands of tiny isolated actors that never share mutable state. So I don't have to fight locks, race conditions or data corruption — actors exchange messages, the runtime spreads them across all cores and the backend scales cleanly instead of going into deadlocks at the first traffic spike.

Pony's key difference is its capability-safe type system. Reference capabilities let the compiler prove before the service starts that two actors will never access the same mutable data simultaneously. That means the absence of data races is guaranteed at compile time, not hoped for in production. I use this actively: I design actor boundaries, pick the right reference capability for each message and keep allocation patterns friendly to per-actor garbage collection so latencies stay low and stable — no stop-the-world pauses and sudden resource contention.

I take on new low-latency message-heavy services and performance-critical components where every millisecond matters. I can also profile and rescue an existing Pony project, reshape actor topology and add tests and benchmarks so numbers can be trusted.

— Building applications and libraries in Pony from scratch
— Actor design: message protocols, topology, backpressure
— Capability typing and race-free architecture
— Low-latency high-performance backends and pipelines
— Per-actor GC tuning and latency profiling
— Benchmarks, load testing and performance optimization
