About the service
I'm a systems developer working in the D programming language, building fast native binaries where speed, memory control and clean maintainable code all matter at once. D is my primary tool because it gives C and C++ performance alongside a modern type system, garbage collection that can be disabled when needed, and compile-time metaprogramming that eliminates entire classes of runtime overhead. In it I write backend services, command-line utilities, data processing pipelines and speed-critical modules that need to work close to the hardware while remaining readable.
My strength is extracting real throughput from architecture without sacrificing reliability. I profile carefully, reduce allocations, use ranges and slices instead of copying, rely on templates, mixins and compile-time computation to generate specialized code at build time rather than pay for it at runtime. If a project is already written in C or C++, I plug directly into it via D's interop layer, so your libraries stay in place and new native components layer on top. I write tests, benchmarks and clear documentation and value predictable behavior under load over numbers that look good on an idle machine.
I'm the right fit if you need a D specialist, not someone who treats the language as a curiosity. I take on services from scratch, rewriting slow hot paths and native modules embedded in a larger system, and stay in touch and honest about tradeoffs the whole way.
— Native backend services and daemons in D
— Performance and latency optimization, profiling, memory tuning
— Interop with C and C++, wrappers over existing libraries
— Compile-time metaprogramming: templates, mixins, CTFE
— CLI utilities and data processing pipelines
— Tests, benchmarks and technical documentation
