2D Game Artist — Sprites, Tilesets, UI & Concept Art

Natalia

UI/UX & Product Designer
Service description
I am a 2D game artist and I build the visual side of indie games from the first rough sketch to the polished, engine-ready asset. Over the years I have drawn playable characters, enemies, collectibles, environment tilesets and full user interfaces for platformers, top-down RPGs, roguelikes, match-three puzzles and mobile arcade projects. My focus is squarely on 2D: I do not model in 3D and I am not a comic artist or a game designer. What I deliver is a coherent visual language for your world, where every prop, tile and button feels like it belongs to the same game.

When you hire me you get more than isolated pictures. I care about how art actually functions inside an engine, so I hand over clean sprite sheets, properly named layers, correct pivot points and animations that loop without jitter. I work comfortably with pixel art and with smooth vector and painterly styles, and I match the resolution, palette and readability your target platform needs. Idle, walk, run, attack and hit reactions are timed to feel responsive, tilesets are drawn to tile seamlessly, and UI elements are exported at the scales your programmer expects. If you already have a partial art set, I can extend it and keep the style intact rather than forcing a redraw.

I treat each project as a collaboration. I start with a short brief and reference pass, share early sketches so we agree on direction before I invest hours in rendering, and I keep revisions open until the asset truly fits. Files arrive organized and ready to drop into Unity, Godot or a custom pipeline. If you have an indie game that needs a single confident artist to make it look finished and alive, I would love to bring your characters and worlds to the screen.
