Project description
The snare wires or strings must be adjustable from the inside, ideally with a simple mechanism I can reach through the sound port, so I can loosen them for quiet ballads and tighten them for faster songs. The café floor is tiled, so the cajon needs rubber feet that stop it from sliding. I would like a soft cushion on the seat, a dark wood tone finish and a padded bag with a handle for carrying it between gigs.
Please also put a short care note in with the instrument. The cajon is meant for a seated player: sitting and playing is fine, but nobody should stand or jump on it. The tapa should never be struck with rings or hard objects, because thin plywood cracks. And since we play indoors next to diners and neighbours, I want an honest idea of how loud it gets so we can plan the volume and protect our own hearing.
