Project description
I'm looking for an experienced upholsterer who can carefully remove the old cover, inspect and, if needed, refresh the padding or webbing underneath, and then fit and stitch the new fabric so the finished piece looks clean, tight, and professional. I care about preserving the original shape and character of the chair, so precision with seams, piping, and corners matters a lot to me. I'm open to discussing fabric quantity and any additional foam or batting that might be needed once you've seen photos or measurements of the piece.
Please reach out with examples of similar reupholstery work you've completed before, along with an estimated timeline and price. I'd also appreciate advice on how much fabric to buy given the chair's dimensions.
What I need done:
— Remove and dispose of the old fabric and any worn padding
— Repair or replace webbing/springs if necessary
— Cut and fit new fabric supplied by me
— Finish with clean seams, piping, and secure stapling/tacking
— Return the chair fully assembled and ready to use
