Project description
The logic itself is not complicated — it is basically a base price per size plus a set of multipliers and add-ons — but it has to be editable without touching code, because filler prices and fabric costs change every few months. I would rather manage the price table from a simple admin screen than ask a developer to redeploy every time a supplier raises prices. The calculator should also work correctly on mobile, since a good share of our traffic comes from phones, and it needs to send the finished configuration to us by email or into a simple order queue so a manager can follow up.
Requirements:
— Mattress size selector (standard sizes plus a custom width/length/height input with validation)
— Filling type selector (memory foam, latex, coconut coir, springs, combined) each with its own price coefficient
— Firmness selector (soft, medium, firm, or dual-sided) affecting price and material combination
— Cover/fabric selector (basic knit, quilted, removable/washable, premium jacquard) with separate pricing
— Rush production option that adds a percentage or fixed fee and shows a shorter delivery estimate
— Live price recalculation on every field change, shown in a clear breakdown, not just a single total
— Admin panel or editable price table (base prices, coefficients, fees) with no code changes needed
— Result sent as an order request by email or saved to a simple database table with contact fields
— Mobile-friendly responsive layout and basic input validation with helpful error messages
