Project description
I am looking for a developer to build a dynamic QR-code generator with built-in scan tracking. The core idea is that every code we create should point to an editable destination, so the printed graphic stays the same forever while the target it resolves to can be changed at any moment from an admin panel. This is not a link-shortener project; the focus is the QR codes themselves, their visual customization, and the analytics we collect each time someone scans one. I already have a rough concept and some reference material, and I want a clean, reliable implementation that we can grow over time.

On the tracking side, I need detailed scan analytics captured for every code: the timestamp of each scan, an approximate location derived from the request, device type and operating system, and the referring context where possible. All of this should feed a simple dashboard with charts and exportable reports, so that non-technical teammates can understand performance at a glance. Customization matters too, so the generator must let us set colors, add a logo in the center, choose corner styles, and pick output formats such as SVG and PNG at print resolution.

We run frequent campaigns, so bulk generation from a spreadsheet or an API call is essential, along with the ability to group codes into folders and edit their destinations in batches. Please share examples of similar work, your proposed stack, and a realistic timeline.

— Dynamic codes with editable destinations, changeable after printing
— Scan analytics: time, approximate location, device, and OS
— Visual customization: colors, center logo, corner styles, SVG and PNG export
— Bulk generation via spreadsheet import or API, grouped in folders
— Clean dashboard with charts and exportable reports
