Project description
I run concerts, workshops and conferences, and I am tired of juggling spreadsheets and paper lists at the entrance. I want a proper event-ticketing platform where I can create an event in a few minutes, describe the date, venue and lineup, and then sell tickets directly from the page. Each event should support several ticket tiers such as early bird, standard and VIP, each with its own price, quantity limit and sales window, so I can control how many seats go on sale and when they close. Buyers should choose a tier, pay through the checkout, and instantly receive a ticket with a unique QR code by email, without me touching anything manually.
The part that matters most to me is the door. At entry my staff must be able to open a scanner on a phone or tablet, point it at the buyer's QR code, and get an immediate green or red result: valid, already used, or wrong event. Every scan should be logged so a ticket cannot be reused, and the system must keep working smoothly even when a crowd arrives in the same few minutes. For seated venues I also want an optional seating map where the buyer picks an exact seat and that seat is then locked from other sales. Throughout the whole process I need clear sales reports showing revenue, tickets sold per tier, remaining stock and check-in progress in real time, so I always know how the event is performing.
This is not an appointment or booking calendar and not a scheduling-link tool. The focus is strictly selling event tickets and validating them at the door. Please build it as a clean, mobile-friendly web application, tell me which payment options you can integrate, and explain how the QR scanning would run reliably on ordinary phones.
