Website Design

We’re looking for a professional and talented Web Designer with hands-on experience in WordPress to take over the graphics and user interface design of our websites. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and original web design as well as to have superior user interface design skills. We would love talking to you if your portfolio includes clean, modern, responsive websites with excellent navigation structures and detailing linking. The successful candidate should be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and to be able to transform them further on into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.



Responsibilities

Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
Present and defend designs and key deliverables to all stakeholders
Design page layouts and templates
Produce design assets for use in social media and marketing channels
Develop and maintain consistent branding
Work with front-end web developers to deploy designs
Select and prepare imagery
Create and maintain a database of design assets


Requirements

Proven work experience as a web designer
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
Strong command of color theory, image composition and typography
Excellent time management skills
Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats
Awareness of UI/UX Principles
Familiarity with digital photo editing
Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
