Project description
The customer is an Internet provider. We manage an extensive network of various network devices (computers, routers, switches, servers, cameras, etc.) that are connected to each other and / or the central node by cable and wireless communication lines (twisted pair, fiber optic, radio channel).
An example of such a network in this figure:
What we're missing.
There is no way to see the physical connections between the devices (which wires are connected) and the geographic reference (where the wires are located). Add this functionality to a monitoring system that we do not have.
Therefore, we are considering the option to implement this functionality on the 1C-Bitrix platform: site management.
More detail.
We have the attached network diagram in graphic format (jpeg, png, svg).
Need to:
- "place" this scheme in BUS (1C-Bitrix: site management)
- to allocate areas of arbitrary shape (wires, network devices, computers, etc.)
- to ensure interactivity - when clicking on the selected areas to display the image (photo) of the object and its properties
- enter/output a list of properties stored in the BUS database
Example 1.
The company regularly upgrades communication lines (changes twisted pair for fiber optic or changes fiber optic with one number of lived on fiber optic with a large number of veins). To simplify this process, you need to see the following properties of the cable:
- image
- marking
- How many lived
- year of laying
- signal level in the cable and the date of its measurement
Other parameters (may be added over time)
To do this, the operator must be able to specify the object (in this case the cable) and view/add/edit these properties.
Example 2.
Server room (in the diagram is indicated by one icon). It is necessary to deduce the following properties of this object:
Photos (buildings, doors to the server room, racks with equipment)
- power consumed by the equipment
- arrangement of equipment
Information required to access the server
Other parameters (may be added over time)
The operator should be able to specify the object (in this case, the server room), obtain a list of the above properties and, for example, communicate them to the maintenance personnel.
Important.
Markup of the network scheme (allocation of areas / objects) should be carried out by an employee of the company independently - in synchrony with changes in the network topology.
First of all, I would like to get a detailed list of works on the implementation of this task in the format: work, duration, cost.
Option: design, programming - ZZZ years, XXX million Gold coins will not be considered.
