About the service
After severe hail, a general roof photo is not enough for an insurance adjuster — proof is needed. I offer a narrowly specialized service of drone aerial photography aimed specifically at documenting hail damage: dents and cracks in bitumen shingles, dents in gutters, damage to soft metal on joints and ventilation elements. The photography is done at a sufficiently close range so individual impact marks are visible, not a blurred overall view.
This is a narrower task than typical storm damage roof photography. As a separate service, I don't focus on wind-torn shingles or fallen trees — the focus is specifically on hail: mapping damage density across each roof slope, comparing dent diameter against standard hail size scales and a report structured the way adjusters actually read it.
Each flight includes macro close-up zoom shots for detailed views of dents in shingles and general passes across each slope for context. All photos and video automatically receive time stamps and geo-tagging at the moment of capture. Materials are compiled into a neat PDF evidence package: damage map with overlay, annotations on mark size and a written summary that can be directly attached to the insurance file.
Turnaround time is short: most orders are completed within 24–48 hours after storm notification, because insurance deadlines are tight and hail dents become harder to spot in the sun over time. I hold an active license and insurance for commercial drone flights, comply with airspace regulations including temporary restrictions after major weather events.
How to order: send the property address, approximate storm date and a convenient time window for filming. I'll confirm flight authorization, schedule the flight and deliver the finished report within 24 hours of shooting.
