About the service
I conduct on-site inspection of facilities by drone with a FLIR radiometric thermal imaging camera — this makes it possible to find what cannot be seen with the naked eye: hidden roof leaks, overheated solar panel cells, thermal bridges, and areas of heat loss through walls and windows.
How the work proceeds: I fly the drone over the roof, facade, or solar panel at the optimal time of day — thermal contrast is strongest at dawn or after sunset, when the temperature difference between the defective and intact areas is maximum. Each anomaly is recorded as a thermal image with GPS metadata and duplicated with a standard photograph for clarity.
What is included in the order: complete thermal scan of the facility, separate scanning of each solar panel cell for overheating and degradation, moisture mapping of the roof covering, written report with paired images — thermal plus standard — and temperature difference readings for each detected point, as well as clear recommendations on what to repair first.
Who needs this: homeowners with unexplained roof leaks, solar installation contractors for warranty documentation of defective panels, property managers conducting audits before purchase, insurance experts who need objective thermal evidence.
Turnaround time — usually 3-5 business days from flight to finished PDF report, urgent orders completed faster. I work with my own certified equipment, insurance, and spare batteries, so weather delays rarely shift the schedule by more than a day. From recent projects: inspection of a 40-panel solar station where two faulty bypass diodes were found, and a townhouse roof leak whose source turned out to be a cracked trim that was invisible from the ground.
