About the service
I'm an artist who hand-paints furniture, and this is my main offering: I take your dresser, cabinet, or other case piece (or we select a suitable replacement together) and transform it into an original piece created for a specific room. Before I pick up a brush, we discuss the interior, existing colors, and the mood you want to achieve — airy and light, bright and graphic, botanical motif, geometry, gradient, or something of your own — and I develop a palette and pattern specifically for this piece. Nothing is taken from a ready-made catalog: each order gets its own development so the result looks like something made for your home, not purchased elsewhere.
Once the concept is approved, I do all the work myself: complete surface preparation and sanding, priming so the paint adheres firmly and doesn't peel over time, hand-painting each layer of the pattern with artistic paints and brushes, and a final protective coating so the surface withstands daily wear — opening drawers, setting down a cup, children leaning against it. At key stages I send photos of the process so you see how the piece is created, not get a surprise at the end, and I include one round of minor corrections before applying the final coat if anything needs adjusting.
I've been painting furniture long enough to know where people usually cut corners, and I refuse to do that on principle: it's precisely correct surface preparation that makes the difference between a piece that looks fresh after five years and one that fades after five months. If you have a beloved but boring dresser, or you want a cabinet that becomes the focal point of a room instead of fading into it, this commission is for you.
