About the service
I am a mosaic master and make garden stepping stones from broken ceramic tiles, glass shards and broken dishware fragments. Each order begins with a conversation about your garden: what colors predominate in your garden, what style your pathway or patio has, what mood the stone should create — and based on that I assemble the pattern by hand, without templates or stamping.
I lay each fragment by hand in a frost-resistant concrete or reinforced base, sand the sharp edges and coat the surface with a protective compound so the stone easily withstands rain, frost and years of being walked on without cracking or fading. Since I work with broken and recycled tiles rather than ready-made mosaic mesh, two identical stones are impossible for me to make in principle, and if you need a whole pathway — I'm happy to make a series in a unified style.
I can work with a color palette you send me, with shards of your favorite broken plate or tile that you want to preserve in a new form, or with a simple subject — the sun, a spiral, a house number. Timeline and cost depend on the size of the stone and pattern complexity, and before the final coating I always send a photo at an intermediate stage so you can request small changes.
