About the service
I have worked as a chimney sweep for many years and offer complete pre-winter cleaning of chimneys, fireplaces and stoves along with a safety inspection of the entire smoke exhaust system. Before the heating season begins, I visit the site with special brushes, flexible rods and a powerful vacuum cleaner to remove soot, creosote and foreign objects accumulated over a year of operation. A clogged or dirty chimney is one of the main causes of fires and carbon monoxide poisoning, so my task is to ensure that the system is completely safe before the first cold spells.
In addition to cleaning itself, I perform a visual and, if necessary, video inspection of the internal surface of the channel, damper, cap and protective hood to detect cracks in time, signs of corrosion, nests of birds or animals and other damage that could allow smoke and carbon monoxide to enter the room. I explain all findings in simple terms, show photographs and honestly tell you what really needs repair and what can wait. Usually all the work takes one visit, and I leave the workspace clean after myself — I use protective film and an industrial vacuum cleaner so that soot doesn't spread throughout the house.
What is included in the service:

— Visual or video inspection of the internal surface, damper and cap
