About the service
I am an embroidery and textile decoration master who creates personalized children's blankets and quilts handmade with embroidered name and baby's birth date. If you are looking for a gift for hospital discharge or baby shower that won't end up in a distant dresser drawer, but will become something that will actually be used - I offer to turn an ordinary cotton or muslin blanket into a family heirloom.
Each order begins with a brief discussion: baby's name, exact birth date, color palette and design theme - gentle pastel tones, forest animals, floral motifs, stars and moon or something completely individual. First, I create a sketch of the composition and send a digital mockup for approval, and only after your consent do I pick up the needle. The letters of the name and all small elements are embroidered entirely by hand with quality embroidery floss on soft hypoallergenic fabric that is safe for a newborn's skin.
I name realistic timelines, not rushed ones - hand embroidery takes time, and I build it into my schedule so the stitches lie evenly and the blanket withstands years of washing. The finished blanket is packaged as a gift - it can be presented directly at a baby shower or sent to the baby's parents.
