About the service
I am a leather craftsman and make wallets and bags entirely by hand: I cut the leather, even out the edges, glue and stitch with a saddle stitch — no sewing machine. If you were looking not for a mass-produced item from a store, but for a piece made specifically for you, I am ready to take on such an order and guide you through the entire process from choosing the leather to the finished product.
Before I start work, I discuss with you how you will use the item: how many cards fit in the wallet, whether you need a section for bills, what strap length is comfortable for you. Next we select the leather — vegetable tanned leather that darkens beautifully over time, smooth chrome leather in various colors, or dense leather with a worn effect where scratches look like part of the item's character rather than a flaw. On the selected area I hand-stamp a monogram, initials or a small symbol according to your sketch.
At each stage — cutting, stitching, edge finishing — I send photos so you can see how the work is progressing rather than just waiting for the package. The timeline depends on the complexity of the model; I allow enough time not to rush the stitching.
