I will embroider a portrait of your pet as a patch for a jacket or bag based on your photo

I am an embroiderer and I make custom name patches with pet portraits from photos — I transform a photo of your dog, cat or other beloved pet into a small piece of embroidery that can be sewn onto a jacket, backpack or bag. Send me a larger and sharper photo, and I will develop a sketch that will preserve the shape of the ears, the color of the fur and that very expression of the face by which the pet is immediately recognized.

Work begins with a short discussion: what size the patch needs to be, where it will be attached and whether there are any wishes for the background or frame. A denim jacket and canvas bag require different stitch densities, so I select threads and techniques for the specific item. I embroider on a machine with fine tuning, select the palette so that complex colors — white fur, striped tabby — do not merge into a spot, and send a photo at an intermediate stage so you can request small edits before the final stitch.

The edge of the patch is densely stitched so it does not fray during wear, and the base is your choice: heat-adhesive or for sewing. The time and cost depend on the size and detail; for a birthday or holiday gift, I can fulfill a rush order.
