About the service
I am a leather worker and bookbinder and I make photo albums and scrapbooks entirely by hand — from cutting and thinning the leather to hand-stitching each signature. If you need a keepsake that will look and smell just as beautiful in thirty years, rather than an album from a store shelf — this is exactly what I offer.
Every album begins with discussing the size, number of pages, and the story the cover should tell. I select vegetable-tanned leather or full-grain leather in the color and texture you need, then hand-engrave or emboss initials, a date, a name, a quote, or a custom pattern onto the cover. I hand-stitch the binding rather than glue it, so the pages lie flat and the spine will withstand decades of opening and closing. I can make classic pages with photo corners, pages on spiral blocks for easy rearrangement of sheets, or blank scrapbook pages for your own decorations.
I treat each order as a unique piece, not as a template with a name inserted, and at each stage I send you photos of the process so you can see the leather, embossing, and binding before the final assembly.
