About the service
I develop an individual family coat of arms that becomes a true symbol of your lineage, not just a random collection of pretty internet pictures. Before starting work I thoroughly study the family history, lineage origins, ancestors' professions, significant events and family values — all of this forms the basis of the heraldic composition: shield shape, colors, figures, crown, mantle and motto are selected meaningfully and deliberately, not randomly.
Work proceeds in stages. First I gather information through a brief questionnaire about the family name, professions, interests and preferences for symbols — animals, plants, tools, geographic motifs of home places. Then I propose two or three sketch-concepts for you to choose from, refine the preferred version based on your feedback, and deliver the final coat of arms in vector format — meaning the image can be printed at any size without quality loss, from a business card to a large banner.
The finished coat of arms works perfectly for a family archive, wedding gift, engraving on a signet ring, embroidery on clothing, decorating a family tree book, or simply as a beautiful wall panel — a symbol you can pass down through generations. I follow historical accuracy of heraldic rules while keeping the design alive and truly yours.
What's included in the order:
— Consultation and analysis of family history
— 2-3 sketch options to choose from
— Unlimited revisions of your chosen option
— Final files in vector and raster formats (AI, EPS, PDF, PNG)
— Development of a motto in Latin or another language if desired
