About the service
Over the years working with construction-themed websites, I have repeatedly seen the same picture: a visitor comes to a service page, does not find even an approximate price and leaves to check competitors who show this price immediately. To prevent such a visitor from getting lost, I propose to build an interactive calculator for the cost of installing a fence and gate for your website, which calculates the result directly on the page based on real parameters: the length of the site's perimeter, the selected fencing material (corrugated sheet, picket fence, chain-link mesh, wood, wrought iron), the type and width of the gate, the presence of a wicket gate and the features of installation — difficult soil, slope, additional posts.
I do the calculation in pure JavaScript, without heavy libraries, so the widget does not slow down the page and works equally well on a phone, tablet and desktop. We will agree on the price formula in advance: you give me the rates for materials, installation and, if necessary, regional coefficients, and I turn them into a form where the final amount recalculates immediately when any parameter changes. The finished calculation can be immediately sent as a request to the email or to your ticket tracking system along with the client's contacts, so the manager receives not an abstract question "how much does it cost", but a specific request with numbers.
