I'll set up booking for workspaces and meeting rooms in a coworking space turnkey

I take on setting up booking for workspaces and meeting rooms in a coworking space — from zone layout to a ready schedule on the administrator's screen. First, I divide the space into resource types: open area, individual desks, meeting rooms of various sizes. For each type, I create a grid of hourly slots so that a resident sees not abstract 'availability for today', but specific free windows with hourly precision and can book exactly the time they need.

The main task of such a system is to prevent two people from occupying the same space at the same time, and I solve this at the booking logic level: when a slot is confirmed, it's blocked immediately, not after payment confirmation or manual administrator review. If two residents simultaneously click 'book' for one meeting room, the second request gets a rejection and a list of currently available free slots instead of a frozen form. Additionally, I set up notifications about bookings and cancellations, as well as automatic booking removal in case of no-show so the space doesn't sit idle.
