About the service
I create online registration systems for driving schools that combine group theory lesson schedules and available instructor slots for practical driving in one calendar. Students no longer need to call the administrator or search for a paper list — they enter their personal account, see which theory group still has openings this week, and choose a convenient driving time with a specific instructor themselves.
I build the system with an understanding of how a driving school actually works. Each school has its own weekly driving hour limit per student, and this rule is built directly into the registration logic — the system won't allow registering for a fifth hour of driving if the weekly limit is already filled, even if the instructor formally has a free slot. Each instructor has their own calendar with breaks between students, so double bookings at the same time are impossible. Theory groups are limited by classroom capacity — once a group is full, registration automatically closes and the student is offered the nearest available group.
The administrator sees attendance, absences, and instructor workload on one screen and can transfer a student to another group or reassign an instructor with a couple of clicks. Students receive reminders before each lesson and can reschedule their driving themselves, within the school's rules.
