About the service
I develop mobile applications for shared shopping lists — where multiple people maintain the same list and any change is instantly visible to all participants. Your partner checks off milk at the store — on your phone that item immediately gets crossed out, and no one buys the same thing twice or wanders aisles looking for something already in someone else's cart.
My specialty is precisely the real-time synchronization layer, because that's where ready-made template solutions usually stumble. I build an engine that lets multiple people simultaneously edit one list without conflicts: changes arrive in a second or two even on unstable internet. I also carefully design offline mode — if someone loses connection in a supermarket basement, their edits aren't lost but save locally and merge with the list as soon as connection returns.
Beyond sync, I add features that make the list a genuinely useful tool: dividing a large list into sections by store, so a family shopping at two locations sees only their part; assigning items to specific people; grouping by store department; edit history showing who added and who checked off items. I work with native iOS and Android development separately or unified cross-platform builds.
A typical project includes:
— login-free entry so you can join a list in seconds
— push notifications for new items and completed shopping
— grouping by stores and departments with item dragging
— dark theme, multiple lists per family, and invite links
— handling publication in App Store and Google Play
