I'll build a turnkey product comparison widget for your store
Service description
I build product comparison widgets for online stores, and I know exactly why so many of these blocks go unused: shoppers get sent to a separate page, the add button is buried inside the card, and the specs table turns into an unreadable wall of text. I approach the task differently — everything is built around how real shoppers actually browse, not around what's convenient to code.
The compare button sits right on the product card, in the catalog listing, and in quick view, so adding an item takes one click and the counter updates instantly without a page reload. The specs table opens in a popup or on a dedicated screen with products placed side by side, and I highlight the differing values automatically — by color or by weight — so the eye goes straight to what changed between models. Matching specs can be collapsed with a single toggle so the table stays short.
The widget connects to whatever specification structure your catalog already has — numeric, text and boolean fields, units of measure — without duplicating data or adding extra database tables. The finished widget is responsive on mobile and drops cleanly into your existing theme without clashing with other scripts.
What's included:
— comparison table with responsive layout;
— add-to-compare button on the card and in the catalog with a live counter;
— automatic highlighting of differences between models;
— comparison list that persists across visits;
— setup for your catalog's spec structure and testing.
