About the service
I develop lightweight and fast-starting microservices in Java using the Micronaut framework and focus on what really matters in production: minimal startup time, small memory consumption, and code that remains understandable as the system grows. Unlike old frameworks that rely on reflection at runtime, Micronaut resolves dependency injection, configuration, and routing at compile time, so services start in milliseconds and behave predictably under load.
Whether you are launching a new API, breaking up a monolith, or preparing a serverless function that needs to wake up instantly, I design each service as efficient and cloud-native from the first commit. I set up dependency injection at compile time, neat REST or gRPC endpoints, input validation, structured logging, health checks and metrics, connect a database, message broker, or cache with sensible settings that are easy to understand.
When you need to minimize cold start and RAM consumption, I build the service into a native GraalVM image: your Java code becomes a standalone binary that starts almost instantly and economically uses memory. As a result, you get modern, testable Java code that conveniently fits into containers, Kubernetes, and function platforms without the usual baggage.
— Dependency injection and configuration at compile time
— REST and gRPC interfaces with validation and metrics
— Native GraalVM images for instant startup
