I also focus on how you read and write data. I write type-safe queries and relationships that read naturally, eliminate the N+1 problem, add necessary indexes, and optimize heavy reads and writes on the most important routes. You get generated types that keep your backend and editor in sync: errors are visible while you write code, not after release.
