I build payment flows on Stripe that simply work, so you can charge customers, run subscriptions and settle payouts without losing sleep over edge cases. The part most integrations get wrong is what happens after the customer clicks pay, so I treat webhooks as the source of truth. I verify signatures, make every handler idempotent, and reconcile payment intents against your own database so a duplicate event or a retried callback never double-charges anyone or leaves an order stuck. I wire in strong customer authentication and 3-D Secure the way the card networks expect, and cover refunds, partial refunds, disputes and chargebacks so support is not left guessing.

For marketplaces I set up Connect: onboarding sellers, splitting each payment, holding and releasing funds, and paying out on schedule with clear reporting. Everything ships with test coverage, secret keys kept out of the client, and short docs your team can maintain after I leave.
