GraphQL API Development with Apollo

I design and build GraphQL APIs that give your web and mobile products a typed, efficient, and flexible data layer. Instead of a scattered pile of endpoints, you get a single well-shaped schema where every client asks for exactly the fields it needs and nothing more. I model the domain first, define clear types and relations, and write resolvers that stay predictable as the product grows. Along the way I handle the parts that cause pain later: pagination, error contracts, authentication and authorization, input validation, and a sensible plan for how the graph evolves without breaking existing consumers.

On the server I work mostly with Apollo Server. I set up batching and DataLoader to kill N+1 problems, add response and field-level caching where it helps, and wire subscriptions over WebSockets for real-time chats, notifications, and live dashboards. When a project spans several teams, I split the graph into subgraphs and compose them with federation, so each team owns its slice while clients see one unified API. Then I connect the front-end with Apollo Client, React Query, or urql, add typed codegen for autocompletion and compile-time safety, and hand over a documented schema with tests.
