About the service
I will design and develop reliable concurrent backends and developer tools in Inko — a modern language with safe memory handling. Inko provides lightweight processes that work like actors, so your service scales across cores without shared memory errors. The compiler statically eliminates data races, so entire classes of concurrent defects simply don't make it to production. This means fewer incidents in the middle of the night and code that stays predictable as it grows.
What you will get: HTTP and Socket IO services, worker pools and task queues, message-passing pipelines, parsers and cross-platform command-line utilities. Each process owns its own state and communicates only through typed messages, so components are isolated, easy to understand, test and restart on failure.
How I work: I start from your requirements, sketch out the process topology and message contracts, then implement in small verifiable steps. You get clean, documented Inko source code, build and run instructions, unit and integration tests and deployment notes. I can also extract a hot, race-prone module from another stack into an Inko service and plug it back in.
Why Inko: static types catch errors at compile time, automatic memory management removes manual freeing, and the actor model makes backpressure and fault isolation natural. Need concurrent software that is safe by construction — write me your scenario and I will size the task accurately.
