About the service
I create working software in Xtend — an expressive Java dialect that compiles to ordinary, easily readable Java on the JVM platform. If your team is tired of boilerplate code but is not ready to leave the Java ecosystem, I offer exactly this middle ground. I design active annotations that at compile time generate getters and setters, builders, equals and hashCode, immutable value types and observable properties, so the source stays compact and the generated Java is understandable to any reviewer. I actively use extension methods to give existing libraries a smooth domain API without wrapper classes, and use template expressions with smart indentation handling to generate configurations, SQL, HTML fragments and source code itself. My typical tasks: porting verbose Java modules to concise Xtend, writing custom active annotations for your recurring patterns, embedding code generation into Gradle or Maven builds, and pair programming with your developers so the approach takes root after I leave. Each result comes with verified generated Java, unit tests and a short guide to how each annotation processor works. Over the years I have gained experience in code generation on the JVM, dispatch methods, operator overloading and lambda pipelines. Tell me about your pain points — and I will show how much code can be removed.
