About the service
I'm a PureScript developer and create strongly typed functional frontends that compile to clean and reliable JavaScript. If you need a web application where entire classes of runtime errors simply cannot occur, PureScript is my working tool. Its Haskell-like type system, algebraic data types and discipline of total functions let me precisely describe your domain, so the compiler catches errors long before users see them. This isn't Elm or TypeScript with a couple of generics bolted on — this is truly pure functional programming with row polymorphism, type classes and effects tracked at the type level, and I use all that expressiveness to keep code honest.
In practice I build applications around a clear pure core, pushing side effects to the periphery. I work confidently with Halogen for component interfaces, React-style bindings when a project needs compatibility, and the entire PureScript ecosystem for routing, forms, HTTP and state. Because contracts are guaranteed by the type system, refactoring stays safe even as applications grow: I rename, restructure and extend functionality knowing the compiler will point out anything broken. The result is a frontend that behaves the same every time, it's pleasant to reason about, and the next developer gets code that documents itself.
Whether you're starting a new project, adding a typed island inside existing JavaScript code or rescuing a fragile interface that keeps surprising you in production, I can help. I write readable code, keep the FFI boundary small and well-described, support the work with tests and clean build processes so everything stays maintainable long after delivery.
— Strongly typed frontends in PureScript to JavaScript
— Component applications with Halogen and React-style interop
— Pure functional architecture, effects at boundaries
— Domain modeling: ADTs, type classes, row types
— FFI bindings to existing JS libraries and APIs
— Routing, forms, HTTP clients, application state
— Build configuration, tests and safe refactoring
