About the service
I am a Rust developer and create programs for tasks where performance and reliability are truly critical. My main specialization is systems and server level: asynchronous web services and APIs on Tokio and Axum, network daemons, data processing pipelines and long-lived workers that must handle high request throughput without memory leaks and crashes in the middle of the night. Rust lets me deliver binaries to clients that run fast, predictably and free from a whole class of errors like segfaults and data races that plague C and C++ code, and I rely on this guarantee every day, not treat it as a marketing slogan.
My approach is to first describe the problem domain in the type system, so incorrect states simply can't be compiled, then build logic on top with safe concurrency. I'm comfortable with ownership, lifetimes and trait design, zero-cost abstractions and the borrow checker as a collaborator, not an obstacle. When something really needs to be faster, I profile first, then optimize: remove unnecessary allocations, tune the async runtime and confirm results with benchmarks and tests, not guesses. I care about careful error handling, clear logging and metrics, and code that the next engineer can read.
Beyond servers I compile Rust to WebAssembly for browser and edge loads, wrap native crates for other languages via FFI and release small CLI tools with minimal dependencies that start instantly. Need a new service from scratch, a hot spot rewritten in Rust from a slower language, or a crate that's been polished and documented — I'll take the task from design to deployment.
— Backend services and REST/gRPC APIs (Tokio, Axum, Actix)
— Concurrent and parallel systems, safe multithreading
— WebAssembly modules for web and edge
— CLI utilities and developer tools
— Profiling, optimization and benchmarking
— FFI bindings, database integration and test coverage
