About the service
I'm a Ruby on Rails developer and create full-stack web applications and JSON API in Rails idiom. Over the years I've launched both early MVPs and mature production systems, so I know how to move fast without leaving chaos in my wake. With me you get clean Ruby, thoughtful ActiveRecord models with logical relationships and validations, thin controllers and service objects that keep business logic transparent and testable. I care about details that keep an application manageable for years: readable migrations, meaningful database indexes and queries that don't fall apart under real load.
A good Rails application is more than just request-response, so I set up background processing through Sidekiq or Active Job for emails, imports, webhooks and any slow work that shouldn't block the user. I integrate third-party services and payment systems, design REST and GraphQL endpoints, add authentication and role-based authorization, enable caching where it really pays off. Each feature comes with tests on RSpec or Minitest, because it's better to catch regressions in CI than in production. I'm equally comfortable adding features to existing code, untangling legacy or starting a project with a blank Gemfile.
Tell me what you need to build or fix, and I'll offer the simplest solution that scales. I communicate clearly, commit in small verifiable steps and leave the project in better shape than it was: documented, covered with tests and convenient for the next person.
— Full-stack Rails applications: MVC, ActiveRecord, migrations, indexes
— REST and GraphQL JSON API with versioning and authorization
— Background tasks: Sidekiq, Active Job, schedulers
— Testing: RSpec, Minitest, factories, CI setup
— Integrations: payments, webhooks, third-party services
— Performance optimization, query optimization and caching
