About the service
I'm a server-side Node developer and I build backends that stay fast and predictable under real load. My main work is designing and delivering REST and GraphQL API on Express and Nest, fully in TypeScript, so the contract between your services and their clients is typed from the start. I take a task from general description through schema design, endpoint implementation, validation and automated tests and return it documented so the team knows exactly what each route takes and returns. Whether you're starting a new service or untangling an old, overgrown and confusing one, I focus on clean module boundaries, sensible error handling and code the next developer reads without a guide.
Authentication and data are where backends silently break, so I pay special attention to them. I implement token and session authorization, role and permission checks, secure password and secret handling and token refresh flows without leaks. On the data side I model relational schemas in Postgres and MySQL and document stores in Mongo, write efficient queries, add the indexes that the query planner actually needs and wrap everything in migrations so deployment stays reversible. When needed I build real-time too — live dashboards, chat, notifications and presence via WebSockets — with thoughtful reconnection and load control, not wishful thinking.
Beyond the code itself, I care how services run in production: structured logs, health checks, configuration through environment variables, request rate limiting and background tasks with queues for heavy work that shouldn't block a request. I write integration tests against a real database, package the app in containers so it behaves the same on any machine, and keep the deployment path simple. Describe your constraints — I'll suggest a minimal project that meets them and build it.
— REST API on Express and Nest in TypeScript
— GraphQL: schemas, resolvers and subscriptions
— JWT, sessions, OAuth, roles and permissions
— Postgres, MySQL, Mongo: modeling and migrations
— Real-time functionality through WebSockets
— Background tasks, queues and cron workers
— Structured logs, health checks, rate limiting
— Integration tests and container deployment
