Project description:
Remote work for a programmer. It is required to create a standalone recorder based on raspberri pi model 4 for reading acceleration sensors (with a reading frequency of 10 kHz, configured in the range) using the i2c (or spi) protocol, saving readings to the hard disk and transferring them to a remote file server.
Instrument composition:
(1) the raspberry pi model 4 fee;
2) 3 3 3-axis KX132 sensors (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/17871);
(3) a power supply with a battery backup unit;
(4) an external hard disk;
(5) additional necessary components identified during the project work.
System requirements:
1) continuous recording (recording with selected sampling frequency, max 10 kHz for each channel) of data from acceleration sensors (1-3 pcs, with the possibility of expansion);
2) synchronous data recording to the hard disk (with file splitting into 15-minute records);
3) synchronous transmission (if there is a connection) of the registered information packet to the remote file server (in case of a connection failure - when everything that was not previously transmitted plus new data is restored).
Project requirements:
1) Development of iron (part has already been purchased, part must be purchased);
(2) Software development;
(3) Prototype testing;
(4) Preparation of the final documentation (connection schemes, operating principle, source code with explanations for further scaling).
