Project description
We run a small forge that makes custom outdoor mangals, barbecue complexes and wood-fired garden ovens, and right now every price quote is worked out by hand over the phone or in messengers. We want a calculator built into our site so a visitor can pick the product type, enter the firebox size, choose the metal thickness and decide how much decorative forging they want, then see an estimated price and lead time right away.
The tool needs to cover three product types: a simple mangal, a barbecue complex with a chimney and worktop, and a closed wood-fired oven, since material and labour costs differ a lot. Metal thickness (from 3 mm to 6 mm) and firebox dimensions should scale the base price, while decorative extras such as forged legs, patterned panels or a hood should add clearly defined amounts. The result should show a price range plus an expected production time in days, since lead time depends on current order load.
What we would like to see in the proposal:
— a clean step-by-step form (product type, size, metal, decor)
— price rules stored in a simple config or admin panel, not hardcoded numbers
— a mobile-friendly layout matching a plain workshop site
— the finished estimate saved as a lead with contact details
