Project description
We run a flooring installation company and want an online calculator for our website that lets visitors estimate the cost of self-leveling polymer floors before they contact us. Right now every price request turns into a lengthy back-and-forth by phone or messenger, and we lose people who just want a ballpark figure quickly instead of writing to a manager and waiting for an answer.
The tool should let a visitor enter the room area, choose the base condition (bare concrete, old tile, wooden subfloor, or a screed that needs leveling first), pick the pour thickness in millimeters, and select the decorative finish — either a plain single-color epoxy coating or a printed 3D pattern layer sealed under clear resin. Based on these choices the calculator should output an estimated total price and a realistic curing and foot-traffic-ready timeframe, since drying time changes a lot depending on thickness and finish type.
We need clean, well-commented logic so we can adjust base prices per square meter ourselves later without hiring anyone again, plus a simple editable rate table rather than numbers hardcoded inside the script. The result block should also show a rough cost breakdown so customers understand what they are paying for, not just one final figure.
