Project description
Looking for someone to set up automatic generation of driver waybills (trip sheets) for our delivery drivers and couriers. Right now dispatchers manually copy route, mileage and trip-time data from our delivery platform into a waybill template - this takes time and causes errors in fuel expense calculations. We need the delivery platform (route data, drop-off points, GPS mileage) connected to a document generator that produces a ready waybill, either printable or fully electronic.
The finished solution should automatically fill in the waybill with the date, driver, vehicle, route, odometer readings at shift start and end, the standard fuel consumption calculation and actual mileage covered. We need the document available both on paper (for drivers who don't yet have system access) and electronically, so we can gradually move away from paper forms and simplify record-keeping.
What needs to be done:
— understand the data structure of our delivery platform (routes, GPS track, departure and return times);
— design and build a waybill template with auto-filled fields;
— set up document generation on a schedule or automatically at the end of each shift;
— add PDF export and the ability to store the history of past waybills.
Happy to share the delivery platform's data format and provide test access.
