Project description
Our B2B SaaS admin panel has been accumulating design debt for three years. Different sections were designed at different times by different people, resulting in an inconsistent visual language, poor information hierarchy, and a user experience that our customers frequently complain about in support tickets. We want to invest in a full redesign that establishes a coherent design system and creates an interface that scales — one that product developers can extend without breaking visual consistency, and that customers can navigate without training.
The new design should take inspiration from modern B2B admin interfaces like Linear, Vercel, and Stripe — clean, information-dense but never cluttered, with excellent dark and light mode support. We need more than just pretty mockups: we need a complete design system with documented colour tokens, typography scales, and a component library that developers can reference during implementation. The interactive Figma prototype should cover all key user flows so we can validate the design with actual customers before development begins. Developer handoff annotations are essential — every spacing, colour, and interaction state must be specified.
Pages to design:
1. Dashboard overview — KPIs, charts, recent activity feed
2. User management — list view, roles, permissions matrix
3. Analytics — traffic charts, conversion funnels, comparison views
4. Billing and subscriptions — plan overview, payment history, upgrade flows
5. Settings — profile, notifications, integrations, API keys
6. Onboarding flow — three-step setup wizard with progress tracking
Design requirements: light and dark mode variants, desktop-first with tablet responsiveness, full design system, interactive prototype, developer handoff with annotations.
