Project description:
Remote job vacancy. Companies require freelance editors to collaborate on a permanent basis on a permanent project.
Important!
We are looking for English-to-Russian editors in the medical field, not just translators.
SDL TradosStudio is mandatory, applicants who do not work in this software are not considered.
The project is designed for 1.5 years. Editors are constantly loaded, depending on the needs of the translation agency.
Language pair: English/Russian
Special Requirements and Objectives:
(1) Excellent knowledge of the subject: medicine, medical equipment, drug development. Verification of strict compliance with the terminology of the glossary, compliance with style requirements, spelling rules and punctuation of the Russian language, verification of the adequacy of the translation.
(2) Good knowledge of English and excellent command of Russian.
(3) Be attentive and responsible.
(4) Exact compliance with delivery times.
5) Experience of working as a translator from three years in this topic (required), experience of working as an editor (required).
(6) Confident PC user.
(7) A confident user of SDL TradosStudio is required.
(8) IP, “self-employed” status is a prerequisite.
(9) Ability to organize their work independently, to follow deadlines, to ask questions in time.
(10) Work on specified dates, not only on weekends or on the availability of free time.
(11) Adequacy and constructiveness, where necessary, introducing amendments or modifications to the work already submitted. Learning.
The terms of cooperation are discussed individually.
You will also be asked to complete a small test task. The key to assessing the test is the exact compliance (style guide, glossary)
