Remote text work. The company needs a specialist in text recognition (preparation of documents for download to the CAT system).
Requirements and responsibilities:
Professional knowledge of MS Word:
- creation of the structure of the document: styles, automatic table of contents, footers, breaks of sections; tables, columns, complex text blocks;
- insertion of illustrations, diagrams, drawings;
- arrangement of graphic elements with text inscriptions.
Preparation of PDF files and scans for translation while maintaining the original formatting. Fine Reader setup, large-scale manual file rework.
(3) Retrieval (copying) of text from files containing unedited elements (text in unedited form: PDF, images in DOC/DOCX, PPT, etc.) and preparation of the extracted text for download to the CAT system.
The source documentation formats used are PDF, DOC, JPG, PNG, PPT.
