Section: Texts, Rewriting

Work description:
Retinol was discovered in 1920 and was the first vitamin to be studied. It is precisely because of this that it was named "Vitamin A" - after the first letter of the alphabet. It is found in both animal and plant products. It has the property of accumulating in the liver, so taking it in large doses leads to intoxication. Vitamin A is an antioxidant and a fat-soluble vitamin. For its absorption in the human body, minerals as well as fats are needed. In our body, its reserves are stored for a fairly long time, and therefore it does not need to be replenished every day.
The beneficial effect of vitamin A on the body

Vitamin A takes part in the oxidation-reduction process, helps preserve the integrity of our cells, with its direct help our damaged skin heals faster, and the new tissues that appear in its place will be of better quality, it takes part in the formation of teeth and bones, and delays our aging. Retinol successfully helps fight infections, reduces the risk of influenza, colds, and infections of the urinary tract, digestive tract, as well as the respiratory tract. Children who have sufficient reserves of vitamin A better tolerate such fairly common diseases as chickenpox and measles.
