Project Overview
A cafe chain (3 locations) needs an internal ERP to replace paper-based processes.
Modules Required
1. POS / Table Management — waiter tablet interface, table map, split bills
2. Kitchen Display System — order queue for kitchen staff, preparation time tracking
3. Inventory Management — ingredient tracking, low-stock alerts, supplier orders
4. Staff Scheduling & Payroll — shift planning, worked hours logging, salary calculation
5. Reporting — daily revenue, best-selling items, waste report
Technical Requirements
— Web-based (works on tablets/desktop)
— PHP 8 + MySQL backend
— React or Vue.js frontend
— Offline mode support (service worker)
— REST API for future mobile app
Budget: $800 fixed. Will phase into multiple sprints.
