What We Need
We have 3 Ubuntu 22.04 VPS servers running PHP/Nginx/MySQL. Need a thorough security hardening and audit.
Scope
— SSH hardening (key-only auth, custom port, restrictions)
— UFW/iptables firewall rules
— Fail2ban configuration for SSH, Nginx, PHP
— SSL certificate automation (Let's Encrypt + auto-renew)
— Nginx hardening (headers, TLS 1.2+, HSTS, CSP)
— MySQL security audit and hardening
— Logwatch and alerting setup
— ClamAV / Rootkit scanner
— Cron-based health monitoring
— Final security report with findings
Deliverables
— All changes applied and documented
— Security report PDF
— Monitoring dashboard (Netdata or similar)
Prefer candidates with experience in LAMP/LEMP production environments.
