Project description
Offering a remote work by a designer artist. It is required to develop an artistic concept for gift leather books and tray boxes in leather binding (so-called. "French binding" of religious orientation (Torah, Koran, Orthodox literature).We create books entirely on our own production base (printing, binding, embossing). We work with metal (metal fittings).
Desired skills:
Preparation of clichés for stamping (if necessary, we will provide assistance from a technical specialist)
- experience in work with book binding (creation of realized artistic concepts)
Mandatory skills:
- to know and understand the historical styles of book design. In particular, book binding.
- to have an idea of work with leather in bookbound in terms of the design of the binding by the method of embossing (combination of different methods of embossing, what requirements the cliché should meet to ensure the quality of the implementation of the conceived artistic concept).
