Good afternoon,
I need a GIS specialist cartographer/designer who can adapt and prepare for printing a vector layout of several projections of political maps of the world (only borders of countries, with names, without capitals).
1. Need to find out what map is adopted in Russia/Eurases and other countries projection of the world map? (except Mercator)
2. The most popular selected projection should be scaled in the vector so that it roughly fits in dimensions X 180cm*Y 120cm (plus minus)
3. Next, you need to divide the layout into 3 equal vertical parts X 60 cm * Y 120 cm.
4. The same thing is done with the Gall-Peters map, which shows the real size of the countries.
5. In a separate file - not vector - superimpose 2 projections on top of each other - in different colors - for comparison.
Total: Prepare 3 files.
This is the first task, and then there is an interesting work to do.
